WARTHOGS BUSH CAMP

Accommodation:
Warthogs Bush camp is Cameron Harvey Safaris' small, friendly and rather unique budget camp on the outskirts of Kariba town.  Despite its close proximity to urban life, it's nestled in Mopane scrub on the shores of the lake and is bang in the middle of a game corridor, so exciting close up game viewing is a common past time.  

We offer accommodation for up to 25 pax by way of camping, thatched A frame double bashas, en suite cabins and a family chalet.  We provide bedding, mosquito nets and a lock up trunck, you only need bring with you your own towel, toiletries and a torch.

Talking of facilities: there are braai stands for anyone who still believes that women have smaller feet so they can stand closer to the stove, even when on holiday, but if you don't think she should be cooking the kitchen cooks up a warming curry on Tuesday evenings, beautiful chicken and chips on Thursdays and a real homely lunch on Sundays.

 

We have staff (and a cheeky dog) on duty 24 hours a day to help with security, washing up, making fires etc.

As registered operators we can book you onto sunset cruises, houseboat safaris and canoe trips.  To make life easy, shops and fuel are only a few km's away.

For entertainment there's our friendly "bush bar", splash pool, kid's play area, a game viewing platform overlooking a waterhole and lake shore.  Elephants, hippo and Zebra often wander through to check our menu and keep the grass trimmed.
